About this Position
- Lead and execute multiple innovation programs/projects through Henkel's stage-gate process with cross-functional teams in APAC to deliver significant revenue/profit contribution to SBU goals.
- Define & manage project milestones to ensure alignment with global and regional SBU plans and Inno Strategy - financial business plans, technical roadmaps, customer roadmaps, positioning, risk analysis incl. mitigation plan.
- Support translation of ideas into innovation projects in line with global guidance and process.
What you´ll do
- Manage entire portfolio of innovation and product development projects in APAC region.
- Manage, lead and motivate cross-functional project team - build high performing project teams.
- Ensure full alignment in the regional innovation leadership team and key stakeholders (sales, product development, application engineers, operations, purchasing, etc.) on business priorities, targets, business case, timelines, risk management.
- Ensure delivery of projects on time and provide proactive, regular, and appropriate communication on status of projects.
- Identify project risks and define countermeasures. Escalate any delays immediately.
- Take lead in case of problems and conflicts during project management.
- Ensure continuous improvement of the innovation process and drive initiatives to increase speed to market.
- Closely collaboration with the global Innovation Project Manager team to foster best practice exchange and continuous improvement.
What makes you a good fit
- University degree in Management / Engineering / Science / Chemistry preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
- Experience in project management in product launch for relevant industries/technologies is an advantage.
- Excellent English communication skills in English.
- Advanced leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong conflict management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong positive “can-do” mind set and team spirit.
- Entrepreneurial, persistent and result-oriented mind-set.
- Advanced skills in MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint), with a strong willingness to learn and work with additional software.
