About this Position

 This role leads Henkel’s global program to advance the adoption and regulatory acceptance of New Approach Methodologies (NAM) in toxicology. It combines strategic program development, advocacy, and cross‑functional coordination to shape Henkel’s NAM direction, secure executive buy-in, and position Henkel as an active contributor to the evolving NAM landscape.

What you´ll do

  • Define and execute the global strategic direction of the Henkel NAM Program in alignment with regulatory requirements and business needs
  • Secure executive alignment and decision‑making support through strategic concepts and presentations
  • Develop and lead NAM positioning, including concepts for internal and external communication and advocacy
  • Represent Henkel in steering committees, industry associations, and public‑private partnerships related to NAM
  • Actively contribute to shaping the regulatory and scientific landscape for NAM adoption at global level
  • Serve as main coordination point between NAM scientific development and business units to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Foster and maintain strategic external collaborations with regulators, academia, and industry partners to accelerate regulatory acceptance of animal‑free approaches

What makes you a good fit

  • Ph.D. in life sciences, preferably in toxicology, pharmacology, biochemistry or a related field
  • 5-10 years of professional experience applying NAM in a regulatory and/or toxicological safety assessment context
  • Proven ability to develop strategy and translate scientific concepts into actionable programs
  • Strong advocacy, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills at executive and expert level
  • Fluent in English; German proficiency is an advantage
