About this Position
What you´ll do
- Responsible to support all elements of Material Master Data for Europe including but not restricted to the following.
- Quality of content and completeness of Material Master Data
- Timeliness of completion of new material request
- Continuous improvement of processes related to Material Master Data
- Manage European Material Master Data Coordinator Team and coordinate with other MMD roles
- Coordinate and drive exchanges & improvements with GBS+ Master Data teams
- Support European MMD Head and represent as needed on Global Master Data councils
- Coordinate, drive and delegate projects and performance for material creation processes
- Advocate for Europe for change management related to Material Master Data processes related to Material creation process
- Must be expert level with tools related to Material Master Data management
- Strive for keeping a motivated and committed team
- Hold proper training strategy definition and implementation for the team and stakeholders
- Define individual development plans for the full team supported by strong individual coaching. Internal movements and promotions should be part of it in order to control team changes tempo and to increase team motivation
- Together with T2M analyst and regional head of MMD, define and implement the proper balance between T2M activities and “out of the box thinking”
- Propose or support team proposals to better benefit from other advance tools/ideas/concepts
- Ensure proper collaboration with cross-functional teams (IT, Business Process Owners, Supply Chain and Operations Partners…)
What makes you a good fit
- 5 years minimum experience in Material Master Data
- Ability to think critically, prioritize workload and delegate
- Proven people management skills with focus on developing teams
- Business fluent English is a must
- Strong analytical skills (Advanced excel, power BI)
- Ability to manage various stakeholders and provide trainings
- Working knowledge of Power BI Reporting
- Expert Level user of SAP ERP systems
- Expert Level user of Material Master Data elements
- Expert Level in Master Data related tools such as PIA / MADAME
- Experience with multiple SBU’s in EU
- Experience with Global Material Master Data Community
- Data visualization and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with global and regional colleagues
- Positive attitude and desire to work towards beneficial solutions
