About this position
What you´ll do
- Conduct research and development on epoxy adhesive formulas. Develop and optimize product formulas based on customer and market requirements and market trends.
- Prepare samples, conduct pilot-scale production, and monitor product stability and performance.
- Explore new product development opportunities, including new performance features and applications.
- Compile technical documentation for developed products and maintain technical knowledge databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and support sales and application teams.
- Participates in site's safety and/or 5S programs.
- Secures IP position in own area of development.
What makes you a good fit
- PhD or master’s degree in chemistry, polymer science, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of experience (1-2 years for PhD, 3-5 years for Master) in epoxy chemistry related R&D, with a strong background in formula development and application.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
