About this Position

 

What you´ll do

  • Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing international finance team, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Act as a change leader by driving finance transformation initiatives, influencing senior stakeholders, and embedding a forward-thinking, agile mindset across the organization
  • Identify and assess strategically relevant topics; prepare executive-level analyses and decision briefings for senior leadership as their trusted advisor
  • Lead in-depth analyses to derive data-driven insights supporting key decisions (e.g., portfolio management, investments, M&A, resource allocation)
  • Conduct peer, competitor, and best-practice benchmarking to uncover performance gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Lead scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to assess risks, external disruptions, and strategic options (e.g. macroeconomic developments)
  • Ensure seamless alignment between corporate strategy, business unit priorities, and operational execution
  • Define, drive, and monitor strategic initiatives, ensuring their successful completion 
  • Oversee group financial reporting processes, consolidate financial data and analyze financial performance and trends

What makes you a good fit

  • Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • 10+ years of professional experience in finance, strategy, or controlling, ideally in an international environment
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, project management skills, and ability to work in cross-functional and international teams
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (i.e. IFRS )
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear strategic insights
  • Experience in benchmarking, scenario analysis, and strategic planning
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including senior leadership
  • Analytical mindset combined with a hands-on, results-driven approach
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent English language skills (German is a plus)
