About this Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ntern to join our team and focus on digitalizing Master Data processes at our manufacturing plant. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to work on real-world digital transformation initiatives, improve master data governance, and support the operational efficiency of a dynamic plant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Master Data Digitalization:
  • Collaborate with the Master Data Manager to assess current master data processes and identify opportunities for digital transformation.
  • Assist in implementing tools and technologies to enhance the accuracy, accessibility, and reliability of master data.
  • Support the migration and cleanup of legacy data into modern systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with corporate standards.

Data Quality and Governance:

  • Help establish and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
  • Use analytics tools to monitor data quality, flag inconsistencies, and suggest corrective actions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that master data aligns with business needs.

Process Documentation and Training:

  • Document workflows for improved master data processes, creating user-friendly guides and instructions.
  • Assist in developing training materials and resources to promote best practices in data management among plant teams.

Collaboration on Digital Projects:

  • Support ongoing digital transformation initiatives, such as ERP system upgrades or new tool implementations.
  • Provide input on how digital solutions can streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with IT and finance teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to master data.

Performance Metrics and Reporting:

  • Develop dashboards and reports to track master data performance metrics.
  • Analyze trends and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Present findings to plant leadership and recommend improvements. 

What makes you a good fit 

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of data management principles and digital tools (e.g., ERP systems like SAP or Oracle).
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across departments.
  • Initiative and creativity in identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Work Environment:

  • The internship is based at our manufacturing plant in Scheemda, with a mix of office work and hands-on collaboration with plant teams.
  • Some flexibility to travel locally for training or collaboration may be required.
